The Victoria Humane Society is hosting our first ever “VHS Alumni & Friends Picnic” on Saturday, September 21st from 11:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m. The purpose of this PICNIC is to provide a venue for our VHS Aulmni and their furry friends to get together with their siblings or littermates. It also provides us (VHS) with the opportunity to see how our dogs are doing in their new homes!!
We have reserved the PICNIC SHELTER at Beaver Lake Group Picnic Shelter – located at the filter beds.
The picnic shelter includes:
• Covered area
• Picnic table seating for 40
• Drinking water tap – POSSIBLY NOT WORKING – please bring water if required
• Flush Toilets – NOT WORKING but portable toilets available
• Parking
We will have signage created for litters attending (IE: Valentine Litter, Rosies Litter, Friends Litter….etc). We will also have an Information Table, a Kids Tent (With FacePainting & Coloring) and some cake/coffee for our guests.
We will have food for purchase at this Event via a few cool Food Trucks! (Food choices are limited so please feel free to bring your own picnic and snacks for your family & furry friends!)
We hope our VHS Alumni (and your Furry Friends!!) can make it – and please bring your humans! We would like to meet them too!!
(RSVP is NOT required – this is an OPEN HOUSE style event – just show up and stay for as long as you are able).
