Fosters Urgently Needed for Forest Fire Animals

Wildfires in the BC interior are wreaking havoc and tragedy for people and for animals. VHS has been asked to be on standby to help with animals coming in from the fire ravaged areas and we urgently need more foster homes to accommodate them. We may need as many as 100 foster homes until abandoned animals can be placed with new families or reunited with their displaced families. But here’s what’s so urgent —we can’t say “Yes” until people willing to foster, say “Yes”, first.
